Terms of Service
Last updated June 1, 2026.
1. The service
Rigs provides governed desktop sessions — macOS, Windows, and Linux — provisioned on the Omega runtime and controlled through the Rigs console, REST API, TypeScript SDK, and MCP server.
Access is scoped by Keystone to your organizations and projects. You are responsible for the principals — human and agent — that you authorize within your tenant.
2. Acceptable use
You may not use desktop sessions to violate law, infringe rights, circumvent technical protection measures, or interfere with other tenants.
Automated use is welcome — that is what the product is for — but automation acts under your tenant and your responsibility. Configure scopes and quotas accordingly.
macOS sessions execute on sanctioned Apple hardware and are additionally subject to Apple's macOS licensing terms.
3. Billing
Usage is metered per minute per rig, by OS image and size, as published on the pricing page. Plan fees are billed monthly per seat for Team and per agreement for Enterprise.
Metering records produced by Garden are the system of record for usage disputes. We will provide per-session detail on request.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to data you process inside desktop sessions. We claim no license beyond what is required to operate the service.
Stateless rigs are destroyed on stop. Persistent snapshots are stored encrypted within your tenant and deleted when you delete the rig.
5. Availability and support
We target high availability for the control plane; Enterprise agreements carry a 99.9% uptime SLA with service credits.
Lifecycle actions marked destructive (reinstall OS, wipe state, stop) execute immediately and irreversibly once confirmed. We cannot recover wiped state.
6. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time; stopping all rigs ends usage charges. We may suspend tenants for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
Sections on billing, content, and liability survive termination.
7. Liability
The service is provided as-is to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced through the changelog and, for Enterprise customers, through your named contact at least 30 days in advance.
